Sanguineto

The flats were created out of the restoration of an old abandoned stable situated in the centre of a small countryside hamlet called Sanguineto. This place takes its name from the famous battle of 217 BC between the Roman army and the Carthaginian army (led by Hannibal). Today this area is classified as one of outstanding natural beauty, where traditional farming methods are still very much in evidence, the major crops being olives and wine grapes.

The apartments have been luxuriously finished using traditional building methods and materials combined with the latest technology. Each apartment has its own independent liquid propane gas (LPG) central-heating system, with the boiler located outside the building, as well as its own electricity and telephone lines.

A large balcony and veranda, and a private garden giving out onto the surrounding landscape, offering a magnificent view over Lake Trasimeno, complete the building.

There is a swimming-pool at disposal of the guests and its size is 6 X 12.

La Torre

This ancient watchtower is situated at a short distance from the hamlet of Sanguineto, and dominates the plain below, where the famous historical battle between Hannibal and the Romans took place.
Last century, "La Torre was converted into a dwelling, but subsequently abandoned altogether. Careful restoration work and adaptation to modern life standards have turned it into a small, yet comfortable home for two people with all the fascination and sturdiness of such ancient buildings. It is surrounded by an attractive, panoramic garden with a number of ancient olive trees andthe co-owners' swimming-pool is at disposal of the guests. The house has air conditioning, which you have to pay extra (what you use).
